STRATACACHE and JFKIAT Collaborate to Enhance Terminal 4 Experience at JFK Airport

STRATACACHE and JFKIAT, the operator of Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy International Airport, have partnered to elevate the passenger experience as part of the terminal's redevelopment. Over the past 11 months, STRATACACHE has contributed to JFKIAT's implementation of innovative technologies, with further developments expected within the year.

Since March 2023, JFKIAT initiated a project with Scala, a STRATACACHE company, focusing on digital signage in the pre-security area. This involves comprehensive services from project inception to ongoing support, aiming to enrich passenger engagement. The initiative has quickly resulted in the deployment of digital displays.

Steve Tukavkin, JFKIAT's VP of IT & Digital, emphasized the importance of leveraging technology to meet the evolving needs of passengers and provide seamless experiences. The partnership with STRATACACHE supports continuous improvements as Terminal 4 undergoes transformation.

The collaboration has introduced several features in its first phase, including extensive LED video walls for departures, digital totems for wayfinding, outdoor curbside displays for efficient passenger guidance, and a Scala Airport Operations Portal for dynamic content management across digital signs.
