Strong Acceleration of e-Rx Sales in Germany for Redcare Pharmacy

Redcare Pharmacy N.V. reported a significant increase in e-Rx sales in Germany. Growth surged from 7% in Q1 to 37% in Q2. Total sales for Q2 reached EUR 560 million, reflecting a 33% year-over-year increase. Non-Rx sales totaled EUR 390 million, marking a 21% rise.

The launch of the CardLink system on 6 May contributed to the uptick in e-Rx sales. The active customer base expanded by 0.4 million to 11.6 million in Q2. Year-to-date sales reached EUR 1,120 million, a 41% increase compared to H1 2023.

CEO Olaf Heinrich highlighted the positive feedback from customers regarding the digital prescription process enabled by CardLink. CFO Jasper Eenhorst emphasized the company's strategic focus on the e-Rx market in Germany, which has bolstered overall growth.
