Successful 7th Annual World Dog Day Hosted by Vanderpump in West Hollywood

The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, along with the City of West Hollywood, celebrated the successful completion of the 7th Annual World Dog Day on May 11th, 2024. The event gathered around 2,000 participants, including their pets, in West Hollywood, California. This event aims to highlight dog welfare and promote adoption while addressing issues like dog abuse globally.

Lisa Vanderpump, co-founder of The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, addressed the crowd, emphasizing the organization's commitment to fighting animal cruelty since its start in 2016. Since then, the foundation has rescued nearly 3,000 dogs, including those from the dog meat trade in China. The event itself presented a festive atmosphere with various activities including a dog fashion show judged by Hulu's stars and a doggy play park.

Notable attendees included “Vanderpump Rules” cast members and singer Leona Lewis. Title sponsor NutriSource Pet Foods, along with other partners, played a significant role in supporting the event. The celebration underscores the foundation's ongoing crusade against animal cruelty and its dedication to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs worldwide.
