Sunrise UPC GmbH reports stable growth in the first quarter of 2024

Sunrise UPC GmbH reported solid customer growth and stable financial results for the first quarter of 2024. The number of Postpaid mobile subscriptions increased by 28,000, and Internet subscriptions saw an increase of 6,200. These results position the company well to achieve its annual objectives.

Revenue remained at CHF 746.8 million, stable compared to the previous year, while adjusted EBITDA increased slightly by 0.4% to CHF 244.3 million. The company has also invested significantly, with capital expenditure representing 17.5% of its revenue, focused primarily on network development and product innovation.

André Krause, CEO of Sunrise, is optimistic about continued growth despite a market that became less liquid at the start of the year. The company is also banking on positive effects from the optimization of operational costs for the following quarters.
