SustainableIT.org Honors Visionary Technology Leaders with 2024 Impact Awards

SustainableIT.org, a nonprofit led by CIOs and dedicated to global sustainability through technology, has announced the recipients of the 2024 SustainableIT Impact Awards. These awards highlight notable contributions to sustainability in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) categories.

The honorees, chosen by the organization’s emeritus board members, are recognized for their leadership in sustainable IT practices. Their initiatives span various sectors, including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and technology. Award-winning projects feature innovations in Responsible AI, Sustainability Benchmarking, and Data Governance.

The awards ceremony and symposium will take place from October 15-16, 2024, in Austin, Texas. Dave Best, Vice President of SustainableIT.org, expressed enthusiasm for celebrating these achievements, stating, "Their innovations are enhancing customer and employee experiences, advancing global corporate sustainability, and mitigating risks."

This year's honorees include companies like PepsiCo, Mastercard, Cisco, and organizations such as Arizona State University's Enterprise Technology and BNP Paribas. The event, themed "Shaping the Future of IT Sustainability," invites global innovators to join the celebration.
