Sustained growth at EPC Groupe in the first quarter of 2024
The EPC Groupe company reported a 2.1% increase in its consolidated turnover for the first quarter of 2024, reaching 136.5 million euros. This growth excludes the diesel additives business which was discontinued in 2023. The Africa Asia Pacific regions saw a notable increase of 8.4%, contributing significantly to this performance.
Two strategic acquisitions were made to strengthen the international offering: Vibraquipo and Vibratesting, specialized in measurement and calibration for the mining sector and Blastcon Australia, consultant for the Australian mining sector. These movements are part of the group's strategy of developing value-added services.
Operationally, the Explosives and Mining Drilling division stands out with a turnover of 107.5 million euros, up 1.1%. The Urban Mining activity, concerning deconstruction and the circular economy, also showed robust growth of 6.1% to 27 million euros.
The group has also integrated ESG criteria to adjust its credit margin, reflecting its commitment to a sustainable development approach. The company continues to optimize its global strategy, evidenced by continued dynamism in key markets and improved margins through an upscaling of services.
