Swiss Re Shareholders Approve Proposals at 2025 AGM
On April 11, 2025, Swiss Re held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Zurich, where shareholders approved all proposals presented by the Board of Directors. Key decisions included the distribution of a USD 7.35 per share dividend and the election of new board members.
The dividend, approved by 98.7% of votes, will be distributed starting April 17, 2025, reflecting Swiss Re's robust financial standing. Additionally, Morten Hübbe and George Quinn were elected to the Board for a one-year term, alongside the re-election of all current members.
Further approvals comprised the 2024 Annual Report, Compensation and Sustainability Reports, and the discharge of Board members. The AGM also sanctioned extending the capital band for two years. Detailed voting outcomes are available on Swiss Re's website.
