SXG Expands High-Grade Gold-Antimony Zone at Sunday Creek
Mawson Gold Limited has disclosed notable findings from Southern Cross Gold Ltd. at the Sunday Creek Gold-Antimony Project in Victoria. The discovery marks the expansion of mineralization 140 meters below previous drilling at the historic Golden Dyke mine.
Two drill holes, SDDSC132 and SDDSC138, have confirmed high-grade zones with significant gold and antimony intercepts. SDDSC138, extending up to 250 meters below the surface, defined twelve vein sets, revealing high-grade continuity. Highlights from SDDSC138 include 3.3 meters at 34.1 g/t AuEq and 12.9 meters at 7.4 g/t AuEq.
Ongoing exploration involves 60 km of planned diamond drilling to further outline the prospective zones. Mawson holds nearly half of SXG, valuing its stake at A$317.8 million.
