Syngenta Group Introduces Cropwise AI at World AgriTech Summit

On September 30, 2024, in Basel, Switzerland, Syngenta Group unveiled Cropwise AI during the World AgriTech Innovation Summit in London. Cropwise AI, a generative artificial intelligence system, aims to enhance the efficiency of agronomic advisors and growers through advanced machine learning and data analytics.

Cropwise AI integrates Syngenta’s agronomic expertise with vast data sets, including 20 years of weather history and 80,000 crop growth observations. The system delivers recommendations for input applications, product placements, and pest and disease control, using a multilingual conversational model.

Syngenta reports that Cropwise AI can improve yields by up to 5%. The recent GHX 2.0 app update showcases Cropwise AI's capabilities, enhancing user interactions with agronomic data and advice.

Future developments include advanced disease and pest management and sustainability analytics, furthering Syngenta’s commitment to revolutionizing agricultural practices. Cropwise AI is currently available in the United States and Brazil, with plans to expand to Europe soon.
