Tanner Tessmann to join Olympique Lyonnais until 2029

Olympique Lyonnais announces the signing of American midfielder Tanner Tessmann from Venezia FC. This contract is scheduled for five seasons, until June 30, 2029. The transfer is valued at €6 million, with an additional 10% interest on any future capital gains.

Tanner Tessmann was trained at FC Dallas, where he started in MLS. He then joined Venezia FC in the Italian Serie A. He played 23 games in his first year and asserted himself in the following two seasons with 76 games, 10 goals and 5 assists.

Internationally, Tessmann played for the United States twice and was captain during the Paris Olympics, appearing in all four of his team's matches before their quarter-final elimination to Morocco.
