TEAM's Bid for UEFA Club Competitions Unconsidered for 2027-2033
Highlight Event and Entertainment AG announced that TEAM Marketing AG, a subsidiary, will not proceed in the tender process for the UEFA club competitions for the 2027-2033 seasons. UC3, a joint venture between UEFA and the European Club Association, informed TEAM about exclusive negotiations with a competitor.
The tender, launched last summer, attracted various global and regional agencies, including TEAM, which has been UEFA's marketing partner for over 35 years. Despite this, the decision leaves TEAM out of the running for future agreements after their current contract ends in 2026/2027.
Until then, TEAM will uphold its current responsibilities and begin planning for changes from 2027 onwards.
