The Council of State rejects NRJ GROUP's appeal concerning the TNT frequency
On November 22, 2024, the Council of State rejected the request of NRJ 12 and NRJ GROUP. This request challenged Arcom's decision not to select NRJ 12 for the renewal of its DTT frequency. The Council of State ruled that the selection process was not complete. It was therefore necessary to wait for the final decisions before contesting.
NRJ GROUP takes note of this rejection although the impact on the Television business is worrying. The reasons for Arcom's decision remain undetermined. If the non-selection of NRJ 12 is confirmed, the group plans to pursue other appeals and consider the social impacts of this decision.
Despite this situation, NRJ 12 continues to attract a large audience, highlighting its importance in the audiovisual landscape. The channel brings together 5 million daily viewers in France.
