The European Investment Bank offers €500 million financing to Vulcan Energy Resources' Zero Carbon Lithium project
Vulcan Energy Resources Limited has received a preliminary financing proposal from the European Investment Bank (EIB) for its Zero Carbon Lithium project. The proposed amount is up to €500 million. This proposal follows a positive preliminary assessment by the EIB, which is now moving to the stage of considering a concrete financing agreement. The announcement was recently made on the EIB's website.
It is important to note that this financing proposal is not yet a guarantee. The potential disbursement of these funds will remain subject to a series of final assessments, including due diligence, credit approvals, as well as the finalization of contractual agreements and approval by the EIB's governing bodies.
