The Exterior Company Supports Marietta Historic Home with New Roof
The Exterior Company (TEC) recently awarded a new roof to the Clayton family under its Under One Roof program. The family, stewards of the historic Sultzbach-Reinhart House built in 1812, purchased the Marietta landmark over a year ago. Ian Clayton, an Army veteran, and his wife Caitlyn have faced challenges restoring the historic home, including Ian's severe back injury, but remain committed.
The Claytons reached out to TEC for help with their aging roof. Project Manager Melvin Kleinsasser saw the project as a chance to impact a deserving family positively. The free roof significantly eased the family's burden, providing them peace and hope.
TEC's initiative donates a roof for every 1,000 installed, partnering with Atlas Roofing for materials. As COO Joe Hydrick stated, the program restores hope and supports families like the Claytons, preserving Marietta's history while ensuring a stable future.
