The Michaels Organization Appoints New COO and CIO
The Michaels Organization announced significant leadership changes, promoting Matt Sullivan to Chief Operating Officer and Michael Flanagan to the newly created role of Chief Investment Officer. These appointments were made by CEO Mark Morgan.
Sullivan, with Michaels since 2021, previously served as Executive Vice President, Investment Management. He will now oversee asset management, risk management, and corporate support functions. Sullivan brings nearly 20 years of experience, having previously managed over $1B in transactions at CRC Companies.
Flanagan, who joined Michaels in 2019, steps into the role of Chief Investment Officer. Previously President of Development, he will now lead investment and development platforms. Flanagan's career spans over 20 years in capital markets and real estate, with senior positions at Lendlease Corporation in both the U.S. and Australia.
The Michaels Organization continues to focus on its mission of creating housing solutions that enhance community engagement and prosperity.
