ThinkSono and Butterfly Network Launch AI-Powered DVT Training App

ThinkSono Ltd., known for its artificial intelligence innovations in medical imaging, has partnered with Butterfly Network, Inc. to release an application geared towards training in deep vein thrombosis (DVT) detection. Officially available from April 23, 2024, the ThinkSono AI Training app is now accessible through the Butterfly Garden AI Marketplace for users across various regions including the US, Canada, and parts of Europe.

This advanced software, fully compatible with Butterfly Network's handheld ultrasound devices, incorporates AI to facilitate ultrasound training at the point of care. It primarily assists students and healthcare professionals in mastering DVT detection techniques. Currently, the application supports over 145,000 Butterfly device users, enhancing their skills in ultrasound diagnostics.

Executives from both companies expressed their enthusiasm for the collaboration, emphasizing the app's role in advancing ultrasound training and its potential impact on patient care.
