ThisWay Global to Host High-Profile Events in Westminster and RecFest UK
ThisWay Global, an international AI company led by its founder and CEO Angela Hood, is set to host a significant event with members of the UK House of Lords. The meeting, scheduled for July 11, will coincide with RecFest UK, featuring an executive reception and discussion at Westminster.
The event will include Lord Nat Wei, a Life Peer in the House of Lords known for his contributions to technology investment and enterprise development. Lord Wei has endorsed a ThisWay Global initiative aimed at boosting technology careers for underemployed professionals.
This dinner event marks the 10th anniversary of Maker Life, a social enterprise, and highlights a new program called "Maker Year." This program, supported by IBM’s AI, data, and automation teams, facilitates technology employment opportunities while providing personal and mindset growth training.
Lord Wei will also speak at RecFest UK on the AI Stage with HR tech podcasters Chad Sowash and Joel Cheeseman.
