Thyssenkrupp Nucera Chosen for Major Hydrogen Project in Australia

Thyssenkrupp Nucera has been appointed by Australia's Progressive Green Solutions (PGS) as the preferred supplier for a substantial hydrogen project. The initiative, located in Western Australia, involves a 1.4 gigawatt capacity for green hydrogen production. This hydrogen will contribute to the creation of green iron pellets and hot briquetted iron, utilizing solely renewable energy sources.

The collaboration remains in its initial planning stages, with Thyssenkrupp Nucera aiming to secure an EPF contract. The undertaking awaits a final investment decision to proceed, and is not anticipated to impact the company's financial results before the 2026/27 fiscal year.
