Tocvan Ventures Expands Mineralization at Pilar Gold-Silver Trends
Tocvan Ventures Corp. announced continued expansion of mineralization at its Pilar Gold-Silver project in Sonora, Mexico. The company completed its 2024 Reverse Circulation drill program, covering 3,268 meters across 26 drill holes. CEO Brodie Sutherland highlighted that the infill drilling aims to connect the North Hill, Main Zone, and 4-T trends, demonstrating connectivity across these corridors.
Significant results include JES-24-95, which revealed 76.3 meters of mineralization starting at 1.5 meters depth, including 7.6 meters with 0.2 g/t Au, 3 g/t Ag, and 2.8% Zn. In addition, the Main Zone's infill drilling, JES-24-94, recorded a broad mineralized zone with elevated silver and zinc, further indicating multiple phases of gold and silver deposition.
Results for three drill holes are pending, with ongoing surface work anticipated to identify further targets. Tocvan emphasizes that only 2% of the property has been drilled, suggesting significant untapped potential. A major producer is currently reviewing the project area, reinforcing interest in Pilar’s long-term prospects.
