Tocvan Ventures Reports High-Grade Gold Intersections at Pilar Project
Tocvan Ventures Corp. announced promising drill results from its 2024 Reverse Circulation program at the Pilar Gold-Silver project in Sonora, Mexico. The standout result was from drillhole JES-24-79, which showed 42.7 meters of 1.0 g/t Au starting from 22.9 meters depth, with a higher-grade section of 10.9 g/t Au over 3.1 meters.
This drillhole, located 300 meters northeast of the Main Zone, signifies continued potential for resource expansion along the North Hill Corridor. The intersection suggests near-surface mineralization, enhancing the project's viability for development.
Four exploration holes (JES-24-78, 80, 81, and 82) on the northeastern flanks also returned encouraging results, indicating ongoing mineralization. Results for six additional holes are awaited.
CEO Brodie Sutherland highlighted the significance, stating the results boost confidence in finding additional high-grade zones. The findings support the prospect of a large bulk tonnage target and suggest a robust mineralized system close to the surface.
