Torq Resources Inc. Announces New Director Appointment and Board Changes

Torq Resources Inc., a mining and exploration company, announced the appointment of Waldo Cuadra as a new Director. Cuadra, who has been with Torq as General Manager in Chile since 2020, brings over 40 years of experience in the mining industry. His role will enhance technical oversight and contribute to the diversity of the Board. Cuadra's extensive experience includes significant positions at major mining companies across South America, where he was instrumental in major projects and discoveries.

Shawn Wallace, CEO of Torq, expressed excitement about Cuadra joining the Board, particularly during the promising phase of results from the Santa Cecilia project’s drill program. Wallace highlighted Cuadra’s vast geology and executive management experience as crucial for the company’s future initiatives. Additionally, the company announced changes to its Audit Committee, including appointing Michael Kosowan to the committee and naming Ana Carolina Vargas as its Chairperson.
