TotalEnergies EP Gabon Reports Decline in Second Quarter 2025 Results
TotalEnergies EP Gabon has announced its second quarter and first half results for 2025, revealing a significant decline in financial performance. The average Brent price fell by 10% in Q2 2025 compared to Q1 2025, influencing the average selling price of their crude oil, which decreased by 19% due to less favorable market conditions.
Crude oil production showed a decline of 16% in the second quarter compared to the first, mainly due to planned shutdowns at Anguille and Torpille sites. For the first half of 2025, a reduction of 11% was recorded compared to the previous year.
Revenues in Q2 reached $100 million, marking a 15% decrease from Q1, largely driven by price reductions despite a 7% increase in sales volume. The net income fell to $0 million, a stark contrast to the $22 million in Q1 2025, largely impacted by decreased production and selling prices.
