TotalEnergies SE Reports First Quarter 2024 Financial Results

TotalEnergies SE has released its condensed interim consolidated financial statements for the period from January 1 to March 31, 2024. The review report was prepared by PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit and ERNST & YOUNG Audit, two prominent statutory auditing firms.

The auditors reviewed the financial statements in accordance with French professional standards and guidance. Their review included inquiries and analytical procedures mainly involving individuals responsible for financial and accounting matters. However, it’s important to note that this was a review and not a full audit, and therefore, it does not provide the same level of assurance.

The auditors' report concludes with a positive statement: nothing has come to their attention causing them to believe that the financial statements have not been prepared in all material respects in accordance with IAS 34, the standard under IFRS as adopted by the European Union for interim financial information.

This report, dated April 25, 2024, was signed by representatives from both PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit and ERNST & YOUNG Audit, namely Olivier Lotz, Cécile Saint-Martin, Yvon Salaün, and Stéphane Pédron.
