Touchstone Exploration Reports Successful Cascadura Well Tests and Operational Advancements

Touchstone Exploration Inc. has announced the successful completion and testing of its Cascadura-2ST1 and Cascadura-3ST1 wells in Trinidad and Tobago. The initial shut-in wellhead pressures for these wells were recorded at 3,600 psi and 2,665 psi, respectively.

The Cascadura-2ST1 well demonstrated a significant presence of natural gas, similar to previous observations in the Cascadura-1ST1 well. The Cascadura-3ST1 well yielded crude oil from the lower sheet 5 Herrera interval and confirmed natural gas presence from the sheet 4 Herrera interval.

Additionally, Touchstone has installed a flowline connecting the Cascadura C surface location to its natural gas facility, with hydrotesting scheduled to commence soon. Operational enhancements, including the installation of a test separator and riser, have been completed to optimize operational efficiency.

At the Balata East field, production has significantly increased by nearly 300 percent since its acquisition in June 2024 due to targeted workover and optimization programs.
