Trade Republic and Saint Sass Launch Joint Campaign on International Women's Day

On International Women's Day, March 8, 2024, Trade Republic Bank GmbH and the Berlin-based tights label saint sass have initiated a collaborative campaign named "RETIRE RICH" to underline the critical gap in pension savings between genders in Germany. This partnership aims to encourage female participation in capital markets for better retirement planning.

The "RETIRE RICH" campaign, celebrated with the release of limited-edition tights by saint sass, seeks to provoke discussions about financial independence and retirement for women. Trade Republic's analysis of its 4 million customers reveals that women, despite starting investments later and with less capital than men, attain an average of 2% higher returns, thanks to their long-term, diversified investment strategies.

In addition to raising awareness, the campaign will support "seiStark e.V.", an organization focused on financial education for women, by matching 100% of saint sass' profits. Both companies aspire to motivate women to commence their journey towards private retirement planning, combating the significant gender pension gap and the higher risk of poverty among older women in Germany.

With the launch of the initiative, Trade Republic and saint sass hope to bolster the number of confident female investors in Germany and across Europe, fostering financial independence and a more secure future.
