TRATON GROUP Reports Decline in Third Quarter Unit Sales
TRATON GROUP revealed a significant 16% drop in unit sales in Q3 2025, selling 71,400 vehicles compared to 85,300 in the same period last year. The ongoing weak market conditions have contributed to this decline. For the first nine months of 2025, total sales decreased by 9% to 224,500 vehicles.
While Scania Vehicles & Services saw a slight 1% dip in Q3, struggles in Brazil affected overall sales. MAN Truck & Bus, however, achieved a 24% increase in unit sales, benefiting from strong demand in buses and MAN TGE vans. In contrast, International Motors experienced a significant 57% decrease due to previous year's high demand.
Volkswagen Truck & Bus unit sales decreased by 4%, with the Brazilian market slowdown impacting results, though other South American markets remain positive.
