TRATON GROUP's Third Quarter Sales Up 10% Amid Strong US Demand

The TRATON GROUP reported a 10% increase in unit sales for Q3 2026, reaching a total of 78,900 vehicles. This growth was predominantly driven by heightened demand in the US market. The increase marks a continuation of the group's upward sales momentum after a modest start to the year, with a 4% rise in Q2 2026. Over the first nine months, total sales hit 230,400 units, marking a 3% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

In Q3 2026, Scania Vehicles & Services saw a 3% rise in unit sales, supported by its expansion in China and Brazil. MAN Truck & Bus experienced a slight 1% decline, though it achieved a 5% rise over the nine months. International Motors impressively increased its sales by 48% year-over-year in Q3, largely due to a resurgence in US demand. Volkswagen Truck & Bus reported a 5% sales boost, benefiting from the Brazilian loan program, although it experienced a slight drop when considering the year-to-date figures.
