TRATON GROUP's Unit Sales See 4% Increase in Q2 2026

The TRATON GROUP has reported a 4% increase in its unit sales for the second quarter of 2026, totaling 82,900 vehicles. This marks an improvement from the 68,600 units sold in the first quarter of the year. The overall sales for the first half of 2026 reached 151,500, a slight 1% decrease compared to the previous year.

Scania Vehicles & Services led with a 7% rise in unit sales, driven by the NEXT ERA line's launch in China and Brazil's "Move Brasil" program. MAN Truck & Bus saw a 3% uptick, despite slower growth in Germany. Conversely, International Motors experienced an 8% decline but noted positive trends in the US market that may boost future sales.

Volkswagen Truck & Bus achieved a significant 15% increase in the quarter, helped by Brazil's incentives, despite a 4% first-half decline. TRATON plans to release its full financial results for the half-year on July 23, 2026.
