Trigano to Acquire BIO Habitat
On October 29, 2024, Trigano announced it has obtained approval from the French Competition Authority to acquire BIO Habitat, including its Italian subsidiary. BIO Habitat is part of Groupe Beneteau's Housing division, known for brands like O’Hara, IRM, and Coco Sweet. The division specializes in manufacturing mobile homes for Europe’s outdoor hospitality sector. In 2023, BIO Habitat reported a turnover of €319.6 million and employs 900 staff across seven sites in France and Italy.
This acquisition aligns with Trigano's strategy to expand within the leisure vehicles market. By integrating BIO Habitat, Trigano aims to leverage synergies in purchasing, logistics, and production processes, reinforcing its leadership in the European leisure vehicle industry. The deal is anticipated to be finalized by the end of 2024.
