TRS Services Partners with Battle Investment Group to Accelerate Growth

TRS Services, a key player in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of industrial gas turbines, has announced its acquisition by Battle Investment Group. Specializing in services for heavy industrial gas turbines, TRS is recognized for its comprehensive solutions in power generation for natural gas-fired plants and other industrial uses. Furthermore, the company’s expertise extends to aeroderivative gas turbines, supporting remote and off-grid power generation.

Following the acquisition, Rick Richardson will retain his position as President of TRS. With a tenure of 20 years in the industry, including 16 at TRS, Richardson has been pivotal to the company’s growth. He believes the partnership with Battle Investment Group will amplify TRS's strategic progress through increased investments in technology, equipment, and personnel. This collaboration aims to enhance customer service by offering innovative repair solutions and ensuring superior quality and swift service delivery.

Cliff Orr, Partner at Battle Investment Group, highlighted TRS's potential for expansion both in the U.S. and internationally. The demand for natural gas-generated power is expected to rise significantly, bolstering TRS's position in the market. Battle Investment Group is committed to supporting TRS's continuous growth, focusing on new capabilities to meet escalating demand effectively.

The financial terms of the transaction, completed on February 29, 2024, remain undisclosed.
