TUI AG Reports Change in Voting Rights

TUI AG has released a statement pursuant to Article 40, Section 1 of the WpHG, detailing a notification of major holdings. The announcement, dated May 23, 2024, indicates a change in the voting rights structure of the company.

The Ministry of Finance on behalf of the State of Norway has been identified as a legal entity subject to the notification obligation. The threshold crossing occurred on May 20, 2024, with Norway's voting rights position now holding 2.71%, down from a previous 3.16%.

The total number of voting rights now stands at 507,431,033, with 13,726,884 of these directly attributable to shares. No voting rights are currently held through instruments according to Section 38 (1) of the WpHG.

The issuer clarifies that the person subject to the notification is not controlled by any other undertakings, indicating an autonomous change in its holdings. The update underlines Norway’s Norges Bank as part of the voting rights chain, although it doesn’t specify further details.
