Fitch Ratings Reaffirms Garanti BBVA's Ratings

On May 30, 2025, Fitch Ratings confirmed Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S.'s (Garanti BBVA) Long-Term Foreign and Local Currency IDRs at "BB-", maintaining a Stable outlook. Furthermore, Fitch maintained the bank’s Viability Rating at "bb-".

The detailed ratings assessed by Fitch reveal the following: Long Term Foreign Currency IDR is rated "BB-" with a Stable outlook, while the Short Term Foreign Currency IDR stands at "B". Similarly, the Long Term TL IDR remains "BB-", also with a Stable outlook, and its short-term counterpart is rated "B". The bank's subordinated notes are rated "B+".
