Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. Finalizes Sale of Romanian Subsidiary

Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. has announced the sale of its Romanian subsidiary, Garanti Bank S.A., to Raiffeisen Bank S.A. The agreement also includes the sale of Motoractive IFN S.A. This transaction, valued at €591 million, was authorized following a board resolution on March 23, 2026.

The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals, with an expected closure in the fourth quarter of 2026. The disclosure of this event was delayed to safeguard negotiations and ensure internal approvals, which have now been completed. This announcement aligns with the Bank's commitment to transparent communication, following regulations and maintaining accuracy in their disclosures.
