Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. Secures Multi-Currency Syndicated Loan
Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. has announced the successful signing of a significant syndicated loan agreement. The multi-currency sustainability loan facility from international markets amounts to approximately USD 433.4 million. The facility includes USD 97.75 million and EUR 61 million with a 367-day maturity, USD 157 million and EUR 28 million for 736 days, and USD 75 million for 1103 days. A total of 49 financial institutions from 22 countries participated in the syndication.
The syndicated loan features different cost structures: Sofr+1.50% p.a. and Euribor+1.25% p.a. for 367 days, Sofr+1.90% p.a. and Euribor+1.65% p.a. for 736 days, and Sofr+2.15% p.a. for 1103 days. This agreement highlights Garanti BBVA's efforts to secure sustainable funding and strengthen their international financial partnerships.
