Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. Sells Non-Performing Loans Portfolio
Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. announced the sale of its non-performing loans portfolio. The receivables include amounts from credit cards, general purpose loans, commercial loans, overdraft loans, and related expenses and interest.
The first segment, having a principal and interest amount of TL 789.3 million as of late July 2024, was sold to Gelecek Varlık Yönetim A.Ş. for TL 235.7 million. The second segment, with a principal and interest of TL 393.9 million as of the same period, was sold to Ortak Varlık Yönetim A.Ş. for TL 118.3 million.
The total sale is organized in three portfolios for an aggregate value of TL 354 million. The bank confirmed the accuracy of this information in compliance with regulatory standards.
