U-blox Launches PointPerfect Global for Precise Positioning
u-blox has unveiled PointPerfect Global, a new addition to its GNSS correction services, enhancing its portfolio with worldwide coverage. This service is designed to offer reliable, high-precision positioning for applications like precision agriculture, UAVs, and autonomous robotics, even in remote areas. It is optimized for use with the u-blox ZED-X20P GNSS receiver.
PointPerfect Global provides sub-decimeter accuracy and convergence times under 2 minutes with its PPP-AR corrections through the internet and L-band satellite systems. It is suitable for products built on the X20 platform, supporting autonomous and scalable deployments across continents.
The service complements u-blox's existing offerings, including PointPerfect Live and PointPerfect Flex, providing comprehensive solutions for varied regional, technical, and commercial needs. Early access is planned for late 2025, with general availability expected in the first half of 2026.
