U-blox Unveils Triple-Band GNSS Module for Robotics

u-blox AG has introduced the ZED-F20P, a triple-band GNSS module designed for precision in robotics. Announced on May 20, 2025, the module offers centimeter-level RTK and PPP-RTK accuracy with low power consumption. This addition expands u-blox's ZED portfolio, aimed at optimizing applications for both ground and air robotics.

The ZED-F20P is compatible with existing ZED layouts, offering developers flexibility while ensuring integration simplicity. The module works with u-blox's PointPerfect Flex and Live GNSS correction services, enhancing rapid convergence and resilience in tough environments. This integration aims to accelerate time-to-market for autonomous platforms.

Engineering samples will be available in June 2025, allowing developers to evaluate the module using the EVK-X20P kit. The announcement highlights interest from markets like robotic lawn care, indicating potential large-scale rollouts.
