Ur-Energy Announces Results of Shareholders Meeting 2024
Ur-Energy Inc. (NYSE American: URG, TSX: URE) announced the results of its Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders held on June 6, 2024. All nominee directors listed in the management proxy circular dated April 23, 2024, were elected, solidifying the company's leadership team.
The voting results for the director nominees were overwhelmingly positive. John W. Cash, Rob Chang, Elmer W. Dyke, Gary C. Huber, Thomas H. Parker, John Paul Pressey, and Kathy E. Walker received significant support, with John W. Cash leading at 99.51% approval.
Additionally, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP was reappointed as the company's independent auditors, with shareholders authorizing the directors to fix the auditors' remuneration. The executive compensation "say on pay" vote was also approved with 96.17% in favor.
