Ur-Energy Reports Q2 2025 Update on Operations and Construction

Ur-Energy Inc. has reported growth in its Q2 2025 operations at the Lost Creek project in Wyoming. The company increased its output of dried and packaged U3O8 by 35% compared to the previous quarter, reaching 112,033 pounds. Additionally, the wellfield flow rate improved by 27%.

Significant upgrades and maintenance at the Lost Creek plant, including filter press and reverse osmosis system enhancements, aided in better yellowcake capture rates. In Q2, Ur-Energy sold 165,000 pounds of U3O8, generating $10.4 million in revenue.

Construction at the Shirley Basin project remains on track. The site benefits from refurbished infrastructure and minimal drilling demands due to dense historic drilling. The company anticipates initial production by early 2026.

Ur-Energy plans further exploratory drilling in the Great Divide Basin, aiming to expand its uranium resource base.
