Usha Resources Advances Lithium Pegmatite Exploration with 10 Priority Drill Targets at White Willow Project
Usha Resources Ltd. reported significant progress on its White Willow Lithium Pegmatite Project, situated 170 km west of Thunder Bay, Ontario, by completing the first anniversary payments and sharing promising exploration outcomes. The project, sprawling over 21,000 hectares, has now delineated 10 primary drill targets along a 27-kilometer strike, marking a crucial step towards initiating a 4,000-metre maiden drill program.
The Vancouver-based company made a $50,000 payment alongside issuing 1,000,000 shares, consolidating its commitment to exploring the lithium potential within this project. CEO Deepak Varshney expressed confidence in the project’s progress, highlighting the expansion of a tantalite locality into a large-scale pegmatite discovery, drawing parallels with the notable Patriot Battery Metals' Corvette Project.
White Willow's strategic positioning near other lithium ventures enhances its prospects within the green energy sector. The Property's geological setting indicates a fertile lithium-cesium-tantalum (LCT) system with two identified LCT-pegmatite dikes, "Maple Leaf" and "Bingo," which present compelling targets for the upcoming drilling phase. Preliminary fieldwork has revealed significant concentrations of lithium, cesium, tantalum, and rubidium, underscoring the project's potential as a substantial lithium source.
With Phase 4 of fieldwork currently underway, Usha Resources is poised to further refine these targets, aiming to underscore Ontario's emerging status in the lithium market.
