Goldman Sachs adjusts its stake in Valeo

On June 2, 2025, Goldman Sachs International announced that it had exceeded the 5% stake in Valeo on May 27. It held 12,372,489 shares, or 5.06% of the capital. This increase was the result of an off-market purchase.

However, on May 28, a sale brought its stake back below 5%, to 11,714,797 shares, corresponding to 4.79% of the capital. The parent company, The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., maintains a 7.50% stake, using various financial instruments.

The strategy includes securities lending and options and swap contracts, providing Goldman Sachs with significant financial flexibility in its portfolio management within Valeo.
