Vallourec strengthens its partnership with the national oil company of Abu Dhabi

Vallourec announced the extension of its contract with the Abu Dhabi national oil company for two additional years starting in January 2025. The initial contract, signed in 2019 and worth nearly $900 million, will thus be maintained until January 2027. This extension includes new services and digital solutions, such as the exterior coating of tubes and Tallyvision, a traceability tool.

Vallourec also received a large new order for 27,000 tonnes of tubes, which will be produced in its factories in France, Brazil, China and Indonesia. Deliveries will begin at the end of 2024. Philippe Guillemot, CEO of Vallourec, welcomed this renewed confidence, highlighting the excellence of operations in Abu Dhabi and the commitment of the teams.
