Vaudoise Assurances unveils On and Around by Nigel Peake

Lausanne, June 26, 2024 – Vaudoise Assurances is launching a new monumental work entitled On and Around by the artist Nigel Peake, as part of the renovation of its main building. On 2,300 m2 of scaffolding, this work dialogues between art and architecture.

The Headquarters of Vaudoise, built in 1956 by Jean Tschumi, is a modern building of national interest. The renovation of this building marks the second collaboration with Nigel Peake, after Through, along and beyond in 2014. The Irish artist transforms the scaffolding tarpaulins into a “total work of art” with lines and colors which adorn the facades .

For this project, the Swiss company Richnerstutz was responsible for printing and installing the tarpaulins. This project adds a new dimension to the architecture of Headquarters, merging art and the urban environment.
