Veganz Group AG Launches Innovative Mililk® at REWE and PENNY
Veganz Group AG, renowned for its sustainable food solutions, has now launched Mililk® Oat Barista, an innovative, environmentally friendly milk alternative, available exclusively at German retailers REWE and PENNY. This new offering, derived from gluten-free organic oats using a patented 2D printing technology, dramatically reduces packaging waste by 94% and product weight by 85%, targeting significant eco-friendly strides.
The Mililk® Oat Barista in sheet form, intended for easy self-mixing, debuted in REWE stores on May 6 and will appear in PENNY stores as a promotional item from June 10. The sheets are produced in Europe and contain only five natural ingredients, enabling consumers to create fresh, barista-quality dairy alternatives for various uses including drinks and baking, effectively minimizing food waste.
Jan Bredack, founder and CEO of Veganz, emphasized the efficiency of Mililk®, noting that the conventional oat drinks contain about 90% water, which results in unnecessary carton use and waste. Veganz aims to revolutionize this aspect by eliminating water from their products, thus reducing transport weight and waste. The product has been met with enthusiasm from both the REWE Group and initial testers, indicating a promising market acceptance.
