Veterinarians Moonlight as Bartenders for a Cause

The veterinarians at the Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon (VRCCO) are taking on a new role. They've obtained Oregon alcohol servers permits to tend bar at Ponch's Place, VRCCO's beer and food truck pavilion in Bend, Oregon. This initiative forms part of their "Meet the Vet" nights, where proceeds go to their Care Fund, aiding pet parents in need of financial support for veterinary services.

These events tie closely to VRCCO’s core values: personalized experiences, exceeding expectations, teamwork, compassion, and education. Ponch's Place provides an opportunity for the public to connect with veterinarians in a relaxed setting, learn about their services, and support a good cause.

Besides raising funds, these nights aim to reduce the stress associated with veterinary visits. Pet parents can enjoy a relaxed setting, create positive experiences, and discuss their pets’ health with VRCCO staff. Ponch's Place also serves as a community hub for fostering stronger connections.

VRCCO invites everyone to attend "meet the vet" on July 18, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., during trivia night at Ponch’s Place, to support Central Oregon’s pets in need.
