Vicinity Motor Corp. Appoints Tina Stewart as Chief Financial Officer

Vicinity Motor Corp. (NASDAQ:VEV)(TSXV:VMC), a North American supplier of commercial electric vehicles, has appointed Tina Stewart as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Dan Buckle.

Tina Stewart brings over 20 years of experience across various industries including mining, telecommunications, and renewable energy. Her expertise encompasses strategic business planning, public company reporting, and finance transformation. Previously, she served as VP of Finance at Drax Group, leading a 60-person team, and held senior roles at Global Container Terminals Inc., Rogers Communications, and Barrick Gold Corporation.

As CFO, Tina will drive financial leadership supporting Vicinity’s goals through risk management, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance. Brent Phillips, President of Vicinity, emphasized her proficiency in maximizing profitability and long-term strategic decision-making.

Tina expressed her enthusiasm for advancing Vicinity's growth and working to monetize its backlog, focusing on creating sustainable value for shareholders.
