Vicinity Motor Corp. Secures CARB Certification for VMC 1200 Class 3 Electric Truck

Vicinity Motor Corp. (NASDAQ:VEV)(TSXV:VMC) has announced that its VMC 1200 class 3 electric truck has been certified by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) as a zero-emission vehicle for the 2024 Model Year. This certification permits the sale of the VMC 1200 in California and other states adhering to CARB standards, including New York, New Jersey, and Washington. Consequently, the VMC 1200 can now be sold nationwide.

The CARB certification also qualifies the VMC 1200 for various state-level incentives, including California's HVIP, which aim to reduce the purchase cost of commercial electric vehicles.
