Victory Clean Energy and Hyliion Announce Intent for KARNO™ Generator Deployment
AUSTIN, TX — Victory Clean Energy Inc. and Hyliion Holdings Corp. have entered into a non-binding letter of intent concerning the deployment of up to 10 KARNO™ generators. The generators will be used by H2 Energy Group, a Victory subsidiary, for enhancing green hydrogen production from renewable biomass.
The first installation phase, expected in the latter half of 2025, will involve five generators each with a capacity of 200 kW, summing to a total of 1MW. These units will also make use of their combined heat and power capabilities to boost manufacturing efficiency in hydrogen production facilities.
H2EG retains the option to acquire five additional generators following successful initial deployment. Christopher Headrick, Founder of H2EG emphasized the significance of sustainable green hydrogen in advancing global environmental goals and highlighted the added efficiencies from partnership with Hyliion.
The KARNO™ generator, noted for its versatile fuel compatibility including hydrogen and biogas, promises lower maintenance costs and reduced emissions. It represents a crucial step in meeting the robust sustainability goals set by both companies.
