Virbac has announced a strong performance for the first half of 2026, achieving a revenue growth of 7.4% and an adjusted EBIT margin of 18.8%. This growth was propelled by increments in both companion and farm animal segments, recording increases of 10.0% and 6.7% respectively. The company's 'Supercharge' platforms, excluding Thyronorm, also significantly contributed with a 12% increase at constant exchange rates and scope (CERS).

The volume and mix effect contributed a 5.4% increase, supplemented by a 2% rise in prices. The operating margin saw an improvement of 0.5 percentage points compared to the previous year, driven by a favorable mix on the gross margin, despite higher operating expenses.

Virbac's consolidated net income went up by 5.9% to €87.1 million. However, net debt rose to €196 million, primarily due to seasonal working capital requirements. The company has confirmed its 2026 guidance, aiming for the upper end of its revenue growth projections.
