Viridien Announces Sale of Sercel Marlin System to ExxonMobil Guyana
Paris, France – June 13, 2024 – Viridien, formerly known as CGG, has announced the sale of its Marlin™ vessel monitoring and alert system to ExxonMobil Guyana Ltd. This system, part of the Sercel software suite, aims to enhance offshore operational safety for ExxonMobil's operations in Guyana.
The Marlin system is designed to safeguard floating production storage and offloading platforms (FPSOs) and other high-value assets from a variety of marine risks. It offers real-time monitoring and proactive intelligence, providing comprehensive insights into vessel movements, operational parameters, and potential risks. This enables operators to make informed decisions to improve safety and operational efficiency.
